Wal-Mart expands in Brazil, Argentina

Wal-Mart will open as many as 105 new stores in Brazil and Argentina next year

Wal-Mart Stores Inc.,  one of Arizona’s  biggest private employers, will open as many as 105 new stores in Brazil and Argentina next year. The Arkansas-based retailer is planning up to 90 openings in Brazil and up to 15 in Argentina. Wal-Mart has had stores in the two countries since 1995. Company officials met with the presidents of the countries regarding more investment. www.walmart.com.
