Top 10 Tucson

Tucson beats out Phoenix to make the top ten list for Latino City hotspots... again.

We Latinos in the Valley are awfully close to getting a bad case of Pima envy.

As in Pima County, where Tucson is the de facto capital of southern Arizona.

Why? Because Tucson was named one of the Top 10 cities for Hispanics by Hispanic Magazineotra vez.

While Phoenix once again was shunned as Top 10 material.

The monthly mag says that “Tucson’s residents have it all going for them,” with Spanish-style buildings, deep Hispanic roots that go back more than 300 years, and growing prospects for Latino entrepreneurs.

The Old Pueblo also scored points for a “culture of inclusion” where Latinos are represented in cultural dynamics and in local government.
