Tempe seeks diverse partners

Minority and women-owned business are encouraged to use the city of Tempe’s Race Neutral Diversity Supplier Program, which focuses on diversity in business partners with the city. The program, created in 2005, aims for an open, fair and competitive system in the public procurement process when city government purchases items such as furniture or services like construction. “We want to see more people compete and do business in Tempe,” says Diversity Manager Rosa Inchausti. “The goal is to reach out and encourage companies that may not otherwise think of partnering with the city.” For more, call (480) 350-8999.
