ASU partners to market technology
Arizona Technology Enterprises, the technology venture arm of Arizona State University, has entered into a global arrangement to market technologies developed by its partner university Tec de Monterrey in Mexico. AzTE is working in collaboration with ASU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship. AzTE will collaborate with Tec de Monterrey in protecting and commercializing intellectual property developed by its researchers. Technology transfer to U.S. companies would reflect the global impact of research activities at Tec de Monterrey and benefit the U.S. public with development products and services. It could also return discretionary income to the universities, including ASU, through AzTE’s share of licensing income, for reinvestment in their research and educational enterprises. www.asu.edu.
