Ramon, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound athlete from Marcos de Niza High School, is considered one of the top defensive players in the state by several recruiting services. Says ESPN College Football Recruiting tracker: “This guy could be the king of turnovers; makes a lot of interceptions and does a great job of stripping the football away from running backs.” Abreu has offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State, San Diego State, Texas-El Paso, Northern Arizona, Utah State, and the Air Force Academy. He is reportedly leaning towards the Sun Devils. National signing day is Feb. 3.
