Chandler firm lands NASA contract

Banda Group International, LLC, recently was awarded a five-year contract

Chandler-based Banda Group International, LLC, recently was awarded a five-year contract to provide Occupational Safety Support Services to NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. The cost plus fixed fee contract, awarded Aug. 1, provides for a BGI safety team at the NASA site, where it will be responsible for implementation and oversight of the institutional safety program for the next five years. NASA is BGI’s first government client.
“We are excited to be working with such a prestigious agency,” says BGI President and CEO, Zeferino Banda. “We believe the partnership with NASA will be a strong and lasting one, and we look forward to making the Goddard Space Flight Center the model for safety and health within NASA.”
