Latina teen stars in Wizards of Waverly Place

Budding bilingual Latino wizard niños in Manhattan? Como que no? Check it out on the Disney Channel Oct. 12 when Wizards of Waverly Place premieres. The new comedy series stars Selena Gomez, a 15-year-old Mexican American actress. The show is set in a bilingual Manhattan household, home to a family of five – including three teens who just happen to be young wizards. The magic happenings are part of Disney’s offerings for Hispanic Heritage Month.
