Minority Business Enterprise Center recently honored small businesspeople

The Minority Business Enterprise Center recently honored small businesspeople as part of its conference held Sept. 20 in Phoenix, and to celebrate Minority Enterprise Development Week.

Honorees include: Minority Construction Firm of the Year – RBG Construction Company, LLC., owner: Ray Gonzalez Sr.; Minority Manufacturer of the Year - Wintech Industries, owner: Alan Premraj; Minority Retailer of the Year - Real Tacos, LLC., owner: Ricardo Mora; Minority Service Firm of the Year – American Janitorial Services, LLC., owner: Ron Busby; Minority Technology Firm of the Year – Hoque & Associates, Inc., owner: Enamul Hoque; Minority Supplier/Distributor of the Year – Classico Distributor, LLC., owners: Consuelo & Dario Soldan.

Also, Minority Business Advocate of the Year - Ron Williams, President/CEO of the Grand Canyon Minority Supplier Development Council; Minority Media Cornerstone Award - The Ebony Cactus Magazine, owners: Dr. George B. Brooks Jr. and Angela Brooks; Minority Corporate Advocate Award – JP Morgan Chase Bank, Lupe Barto, Director of Supplier Diversity.
