The Hispanic Women’s Corporation, along with its community business partners, has given out more than $100,000 in scholarships to Latino students at Arizona universities and colleges. The HWC will serve 55 students with money to further their education. The organization raises funds for scholarships through corporate sponsorship of its annual conference in September. The group partners with Arizona State University, University School of Arizona School of Medicine, UA Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, UA Hispanic Alumni, Maricopa Community Colleges, and Pima Community College District to provide the scholarships.
