Journalists win Emmys
Catherine Anaya and Univision's KTVW won big in the recent Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television and Arts Sciences.
Catherine Anaya, CBS News 5 anchor and Latino Perspectives columnist, and Univision's KTVW won big in the recent Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television and Arts Sciences.Anaya won in the feature category for the broadcast version of the Discua twin brothers story she wrote for Latino Perspectives. KTVW reporters and producers who won Emmys were Julio Cesar Ortiz, Jose Luis Palomino, Juan Antonio Rodriguez, Jose Ochoa, Patricio G. Guitierrez, and Lissette Martinez. In addition, other Latino winners included Susan Soto, KAET; and Diana Rodriguez-Beaugrand, Arizona Highways Television Productions.
