Childsplay theater company was the only organization in the state and one of 34 in the nation to get funding this year from the
U.S. Department of Education's Arts in Education Model Development and Dissemination Grants Program. The grant is worth a total of $933,628 over four years. The money will allow the
Arizona Prevention Resource Center at Arizona State University to research whether the plays that Childsplay performs in schools helps students learn better. For more information:
