UA begins Panama medical lecture series

The Arizona Telemedicine Program (ATP) of the University of Arizona College of Medicine will host its international lecture series on health care in Panama and Latin America using real-time videoconferencing technology to link the ATP’s T-Health Institute in Panama City and the UA College of Medicine in Tucson.

The 12-part series will be held through June 17, and cover a wide range of topics related to health care in Panama, including: overview of the nursing profession; the social and governmental infrastructure for health care; and the practices of nursing, radiology, pathology and private medicine.
