Smoke-free rules

Bars, restaurants and most businesses must be smoke free by May 1, as a result of the Smoke-free Arizona Act passed by voters in November. To help residents and business owners understand the new smoke-free law, the Arizona Department of Health Services is launching an information line and Web site.

The information line at 877-AZSTOPS is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Web site, www.smokefreearizona.org, provides information on the Smoke-free Arizona Act.
