Marques earns U of A position

John A. Marques recently was named vice president of human resources for the University of Arizona Medical Center.

Marques has a master's degree in communications/organizational development from Purdue University and worked in human resources in Tucson and Phoenix for more than two decades. He most recently served as vice president of human resources for Crosstown Traders Inc. of Tucson. He is a founding board member of Linkages, a Southern Arizona organization devoted to assisting individuals with disabilities in securing meaningful employment.
