DOC enterprise zone

The Arizona Department of Commerce has announced that 29 businesses in the state were newly certified for Enterprise Zone reclassification and 35 were recertified for Enterprise Zone property reclassification.

The zones help attract jobs and capital investment to areas with high poverty and high unemployment. It also allows qualifying businesses to receive an income or premium tax credit for each employee on staff, and to reclassify their property for a property tax reduction.
