Friendly House builds new admin center
A new chapter for Friendly House will begin near the original birthplace of the 87 year old organization. Friendly House, an organization that addresses the critical needs of the central and south Phoenix communities began construction of a new Administrative Center. The project is set to be completed in June. The new facility will allow the organization to expand its programs to better serve the thousands of individuals and families that rely on these services, says Luis Ibarra, President/CEO of Friendly House.Funding for the new building was made possible by the Arizona Public Service Foundation, Wells Fargo Foundation, US Airways Community Foundation, Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust and Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust.“The new facility is a tangible and significant step in bringing together new and existing partnerships to help move the organization forward and to ensure its future as we continue to address the critical needs of our community,” Ibarra says.
