Flores honored for law education

Cactus Middle School teacher Lisa Flores is one of four Arizona teachers honored last month with the John J. Ross Memorial Award for excellence in law-related education.

The Casa Grande instructor was recognized for demonstrating outstanding instruction in law-related education through coaching the middle school’s winning mock trial team and convincing the school board and principal to add the course as an elective. The John J. Ross Memorial Fund was created through the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education.
