Arizona Humanities Council names chair
Kim Fernandez
Kim Fernández, a principal with the architectural firm Albanese-Brooks Associates, has been elected chair of the Arizona Humanities Council board of directors. The council supports programs in the humanities – history, literature, philosophy, and other studies that examine the human condition – that promote understanding of human thoughts, actions, creations, and values. Fernández also sits on the board of the Arizona Youth Partnership and has served as president and other positions in the state and local chapters of the American Institute of Architects. She also has served on the boards of the Greater Tucson Leadership, TEMPO Tucson, Junior League of Tucson, Cornerstone Building Foundation, and Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
