AGUILA kicks off partnership

AGUILA Youth Leadership Institute recently kicked off a partnership with the Hispanic College Fund and their upcoming Hispanic Youth Symposium. Last fall, the Washington D.C.,-based Hispanic College Fund partnered with AGUILA to give 200 Phoenix high school students the opportunity to participate in the symposium. At the symposium  students gather at Arizona State University West to learn about the benefits of a college education. After the symposium, students were awarded $14,000 in scholarships. The Hispanic College Fund is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to developing the next generation of Hispanic professionals. AGUILA Youth Leadership Institute is a college access program for Latino youth using a culturally-relevant college preparatory curriculum.
