Raul Yazguirre named chair of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign
Raul Yazguirre was named chair of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. Yazguirre says he joined with Clinton because she worked on behalf of the poor during her public service. He is a Presidential Professor at ASU, and helped to create the ASU Center for Community Development & Civil Rights. Yzaguirre also has joined the local advisory committee of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Phoenix, a community-development nonprofit.
