NMD GETS AWARD

Shanti Sellz and Daniel Strauss accepted the Oscar Romero Award for Human Rights in Houston, Texas on behalf of No More Deaths, a humanitarian aid organization based in Tucson. Sellz and Strauss were arrested in July 2005 while performing a medical evacuation of three severely ill migrants. The two were charged with transporting undocumented immigrants.
