Hokay! Perhaps this is just a ploy to sell luchador Halloween costumes, but we felt compelled to share this news: Those of you who are lucha fans (you know who you are) will be interested to hear about Cartoon Network’s new-but-untitled program featuring Santo, El Enmascarado de Plata (Man in the Silver Mask).

Santo’s son, wrestler El Hijo del Santo, is working with creator and executive producer Carlo Olivares Paganoni to develop the hush-hush series, which will be set in Mexico City. In the storyline, a young Santo struggles to uphold his father’s legacy of honor while managing mystical powers to defend justice in and out of the ring.
