Crown Royal awards

Crown Royal honors a new generation of Latinos making a difference in their respective communities

The recipients of the 2006 Crown Royal Excellence Awards in Phoenix are: Anna Maria Chavez, director of intergovernmental affairs for the Governor's Office; Matt Molina, publisher of Latino Future Magazine; and Francisco Heredia, Hispanic outreach coordinator for the state Democratic Party. Crown Royal developed the award last year to honor a new generation of Latinos making a difference in their respective communities. This year, the award went to three honorees in Phoenix, Chicago and Los Angeles. Executive board members of the League of United Latin American Citizens nominated the three. For more: www.diageo.com.
