Humberto Lopez, president of HSL Properties Inc., and Nanette Warner, a Pima County Superior Court judge are Man and Woman of the Year
The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce has selected Humberto Lopez, president of Tucson-based HSL Properties Inc., and Nanette Warner, a Pima County Superior Court judge as Man and Woman of the Year. Lopez and Warner were nominated by community members and were chosen by a dozen former winners for their extensive community involvement, volunteerism and career achievements, said Jack Camper, president of the Chamber of Commerce.
Lopez was born in Nogales, Ariz. His company owns four hotels, including Hotel Arizona in downtown Tucson; 28 apartment complexes in the area; and other properties in Arizona, California and Nevada. Those properties are worth about $500 million. Lopez and Warner will be honored at a March 15 luncheon. For more, www.tucsonchamber.org.
