Banchs in Scottsdale

William Banchs, head of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, is the new executive director of the non-profit Scottsdale Cultural Council.


The Cultural Council contracts with the city of Scottsdale to run the city’s arts programs. Banchs, a Venezuelan, is charged with rejuvenating the aging Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts and revitalizing its programs. He is the founder the Miami School of Musical Arts in Miami, Florida. For more info visit www.sccarts.org
