Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens honored community leaders for their work in Mesa.
The Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens honored community leaders for their work in Mesa. The awards were given out at MAHC's Latino Town Hall on Oct. 21. The winners are: Richard Arguijo, economic development; Felipa Garcia, education-parents; Gloria Chavez, education-teacher; Darlene Johnson, education-administrator; Joe Juarez, leadership; Dr. Ruth Tam Lim, health; and Jack Hannon, neighborhoods.
Also, Youth Awards were given to students Carol Andrade, Adylene Gonzalez, Rodrigo Monteverde, Fernando Duran, Jessica Herrera, Jose Benavides, and Josh Chavez.
