ValueOptions of Arizona has named Joseph Ortiz as communications director. Ortiz will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of the department and will be responsible for media relations and advertising strategies.

"I am looking forward to using my contacts in the Phoenix market to get the word out on all the good programs that ValueOptions offers its clients," says Ortiz, formerly with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Ortiz sits on the alumni board of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU.
