HLI-pinal class graduates
Congratulations go out to Valle del Sol for its recent graduating class from its Hispanic Leadership Institute-Pinal course, a 10-week leadership program.
Among graduates are Emily Verdugo Aldrich, Louise Bowden, Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons, Moses García, Víctor Gómez, Debra Goodman, Micaela Jiménez, Nicholas B. Lomeli, Ana G. Medina, Tomás Piñón, Rosemary Ramírez, Lucy Rangel, Janyce E. Rippili, Richard Rosales, Adelphia Sisson, Tino Tarango, Frances Tavares, Sandra Valenzuela, and Frances Rodríguez Wickham.
Casa Grande Council member Ralph Varela was recognized with a Public Service Award. Anna Maria Chavez, Intergovernmental Affairs Director for the Office of the Governor, was keynote speaker.
HLI-Pinal promotes the development of individuals for leadership roles and serves as a principle education and networking resource for expertise and advocacy on issues affecting the Latino community as well as the greater Arizona community.
