Four join ASU

Four new professors joined the faculty of ASU's Southwest Borderlands Initiative this past fall. Eileen Diaz McConnell joins the staff of the Transborder Chicano/a and Latino/a Studies Department. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Ph.D. in sociology.

Joining the ASU School of Art was assistant professor Amelia Malagamba-Ansótegui, who holds a Ph.D. in Latin American studies from the University of Texas, Austin.

Assistant professor Ariana Mikulski joins the new School of Social and Family Dynamics. Mikulski earned a Ph.D. in second language acquisition from the University of Iowa.

In addition, assistant professor Graciela Silva joined the College of Nursing and Healthcare. She earned a Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Arizona. For more info, visit www.asu.edu.
