Corazon de Justica

The fourth annual Corazón de Justicia (Hearts of Justice) awards honored 11 individuals recently. The immigrants rights group Derechos Humanos created the awards. Tucson-area organizations nominate recipients in categories that include environment, indigenous issues and union rights.

The winners are:

Robin Landers, community empowerment
Jenny Neeley, environment
Robert Williams, indigenous rights
Erica Kreider, immigrant rights
Les Pierce, LGBT Community
Monica Davis, women's issues
Elizabeth Hernandez, youth
